What is it spent on?
- Music lessons: All classes receive music education from ZangExpress, a Rotterdam music school with excellent teachers. This year, all children will have lessons once every two weeks from the amazing Melissa Lopes, a pop and hip-hop singer. Music lessons promote language development and brain connections.
- Interactive whiteboards: From group 1 to 8, interactive whiteboards have been used for years for diverse learning and teaching methods.
- Children’s ideas: We like to involve the children in deciding how the money is spent. We organize an annual competition for the best idea, which is then made possible by the Friends, such as greening the schoolyard.
- Musical: The group 8 final musical is a success thanks to the lighting and sound equipment from the Friends.
- Schoolyard: The proceeds from the sponsored run and donations from our supporters are being used to improve and green the schoolyard.
